Firstly I don’t know how these guys get our email ids. I had registered on a popular stock market site a few days back. If my email ID leaked through that channel then that is a real shame. I think I need to be really conscious while registering anywhere. I remember 2 years ago I had registered on an insurance website to check out different insurance deals. Later I bought a policy from another source. However even now I continue to receive insurance alerts in my mailbox. I had tried to unsubscribe but it didn’t work. I have started ignoring such junk mails now.
How can you get rid of such scams? Never register on websites that ask for a lot of details. Even if you do, you should never give your primary email address to any of these sites else you could you spammed. Clicking on attractive links must be avoided consciously. These are sincere attempts to fool you. There is always a catch and you are the targeted scapegoat. Beware of all types of Scamsters.
You must remember that nothing is free in this world and everything comes with a price tag.
